Above all the reasons why you deserve a mixtape, it's the because I love you that matters. I made this mixtape because like the best people in the world, you are best remembered by songs. My memories of you are often sparked by music—something we both shared. And while at times there's a tinge of hope and a pang in the chest that come with it, I welcome it with open arms.
